Where it All Began

Prior to starting Sunlight Electric, Robert was a union journeyman electrician for over 20 years. But was often sent out of state for weeks at a time for contract work. Having worked for multiple contractors in the area over his career, Robert saw there was a clear gap in the market. Particularly with green energy solutions like solar panel installation, energy management systems, electric vehicle chargers, and more. This presented an opportunity to stay closer to his family, and provide the residents of Idaho Falls, Rexburg, Blackfoot, Pocatello, and Ashton with top notch electrical services with a standard for excellence.

Sunlight Electric officially launched for business in August of 2021, and have since seen a huge wave of positive feedback from the residents of Idaho Falls and surrounding communities.

2.5 years later we have grown to a team of over a dozen highly qualified electricians, with the same drive for excellent service. Having amassed 100+ five star reviews, we are grateful to have been able to provide top tier service to our community. We feel this is a huge difference between us and other contractors.
